Paddle Shifter for Keisler A41 Automatic Overdrive System allows you to shift gears manually F1-style without taking your hands off the wheel!

Two modes of operation:
Simple Manual mode:  The transmission operates as a normal automatic transmission, and you can use the paddles much like you would use the manual lever.  Select 4th gear with the paddles, and the transmission will shift up and down completely automatically.  Paddle down from 4th into 2nd, and it behaves just like you moved the manual lever into the second position.

True Manual mode:  The transmission gives you complete control of (and responsibility for!) the gear changes: the transmission will not shift automatically when in true manual mode.  When paired with our optional Engine Braking Valve Body feature in our A41, that means that you can downshift going into a corner, and the transmission doesn't freewheel or wait for the vehicle to slow down before shifting.  Let off the throttle in 4th gear, and the car slows down instead of coasting.  The response is instant.  It is almost like driving a stick shift, without having to worry about working a clutch pedal!  Of course, that also means that when you come up to a stoplight in 4th gear, if you do not paddle down into 1st, the trans will still be in 4th when you try to leave the light!

• Transmission Fluid Temperature
• Torque Converter Clutch Lockup%
• Line Pressure %
• Engine RPM/10
• Driveshaft RPM/10
• Transmission Shift Lever Position

Installs easily behind either 5-or 6-bolt steering wheels, and adapters are available for use with 3-bolt or splined steering columns.  CAN-enabled to communicate with the latest EFI control systems.  Comes with complete, illustrated instructions.
