A truly complete conversion from automatic, combining the Keisler PerfectFitTM transmission system with all of the correct matched accessory parts that have been carefully selected and tested by Keisler for guaranteed quality and performance.

1.  TRANSMISSION
- NEW TREMEC TKO-600 (600 HP/600 FT-LB), customized by Keisler to fit your 1971 - 1974 Mopar B-Body. A number of custom features are included (with no hidden charges) that you won't find anywhere else, including:

  • Shifter location custom designed for your 1971-1974 Charger, GTX, Road Runner, Satellite or Super Bee.
  • Works with factory 4-speed console, places shifter EXACTLY in the factory 4-speed location.  Bucket seats required.
  • Short-throw shifter mechanism designed to provide better-than-stock shifting.
  • Custom-machined transmission case and tailhousing allows the transmission to fit most cars with NO MODIFICATION after a factory 4-speed floor hump (provided) is installed. Some cars require minor alteration of the tunnel; a cutting template and replacement sheetmetal are provided in case they are needed.
  • No cutting of the torsion bar crossmember.
  • Gear Ratios: 2.87 1st, 1.89 2nd, 1.28 3rd, 1.00 4th, .64 5th; 2.56 reverse.
  • Low RPM Cruising - 36% drop in engine RPM in 5th gear (check out our Speed Analyzer).
  • Precision Assembled, TRIPLE Quality Checked - assembled at Keisler by our trained technicians; 100% inspected for function, leak and visual appearance (check us out).

2.  CROSSMEMBER -  No-flex/No-problem rigid welded box construction design with integrated isolator perch. OE quality look with zinc-plated finish.


3.  PILOT BEARING
- Needle Roller Bearing for long life and high capacity, works with original manual or automatic crankshaft.

4.  ISOLATOR - Heavy-duty rubber isolator. Polyurethane upgrade available.


5.  BACK-UP LIGHT WIRING HARNESS
- Easy coupling to factory wiring.


6.  NEUTRAL SAFETY START SWITCH
- Can be wired in to starter circuit if desired.


7.  SPEEDOMETER CABLE & DRIVEN GEAR
- Mechanical speedometer cable and correct driven gear PLUS integrated 2-wire electronic output included. Optional electronic wiring harness also available (for use with electronic speedometers or EFI).


8.  DRIVESHAFT
- Lightweight high strength steel, automatic welded and computer dynamic balanced with premium solid sealed U-joints, painted satin black, certified and serialized. Built in-house on Hines driveshaft manufacturing cell for the ultimate in quality and craftsmanship!


9.  SLIP YOKE
- Heavy duty Spicer slip yoke.


10.  INSTALLATION HARDWARE KIT
- High strength Grade 5 and 8 fasteners, properly sorted, bagged and labeled for easy reference.


11.  BELLHOUSING - Your choice of:

  • Keisler designed & manufactured titanium-aluminum big block bellhousing with dual starter pocket (works with both 130-tooth and 143-tooth flywheels)
  • Reconditioned small block aluminum bellhousing for use with a 130-tooth flywheel.
  • New small block aluminum bellhousing for use with a 143-tooth flywheel (hydraulic clutch actuation only).
  • Lakewood and QuickTime scattershields are also available for both small blocks and big blocks.

12.  BELLHOUSING INSPECTION COVER - High quality molded plastic inspection cover;  Heavy-duty stamped steel cover also available.


13.  FLYWHEEL
- Billet steel flywheel, computer balanced.


14.  FLYWHEEL BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty flywheel bolts; with locking washers.


15.  CLUTCH KIT
- Modern pedal effort diaphragm Performance Clutch Kit incl: computer balanced pressure plate, premium sprung hub Clutch Disk (with latest technology environment friendly friction material), sealed release bearing, lube pack.


16.  CLUTCH BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty clutch bolts.


17.  MECHANICAL CLUTCH ACTUATOR KIT  (Original type) - Complete reproduction clutch linkage system with pushrods, torque shaft (z-bar), clutch fork and all necessary brackets, bushings, and hardware.

 

17(opt).  OPTIONAL HYDRAULIC CLUTCH ACTUATOR KIT (Modern Type, Recommended) - OEM reliability, high quality exclusive Keisler design; easier pedal effort than mechanical type; installs much easier than mechanical actuator, with no linkage required; includes: 1) quick release master cylinder with ball joint and adjustable push rod, 2) single stainless steel line-set with bleeder fitting, 3) high tech OE grade concentric self-centering double-sealed hydraulic release bearing (rated at 7000 RPM), 4) bellhousing dust cover & line bracket, 5) remote clutch reservoir with fluid baffle, molded cap, 6) DOT approved low pressure line, and 7) installation instructions.

 

18.  PEDAL ASSEMBLY - Complete clutch and brake pedal assembly with pads and all necessary hardware.


19.  SHIFTER HANDLE- Chrome plated pistol grip handle with TKO logo engraved on the side, a Keisler exclusive!

 

20.  SHIFT BOOT AND TRIM RING - High quality reproduction molded rubber shift boot and chrome trim ring.

 

21.  FACTORY 4-SPEED TUNNEL HUMP - Stamped steel reproduction 4-speed tunnel hump, required for 5-speed installation.

 

22.  TUNNEL TEMPLATE AND SHEETMETAL - Marking template shows you exactly where to cut your tunnel, and replacement sheetmetal pre-cut to the correct size and shape is provided.


23.  INSTALLATION MANUAL - Highly illustrated step-by-step instruction manual.
