A truly complete conversion from automatic, combining the Keisler PerfectFitTM transmission system with all of the correct matched accessory parts that have been carefully selected and tested by Keisler for guaranteed quality and performance.

1.  TRANSMISSION - NEW TREMEC TKO-500 (500 HP/500 FT-LB), customized by Keisler to fit your 1966 - 1970 Mopar B-Body. A number of custom features are included (with no hidden charges) that you won't find anywhere else, including:

  • Shifter location custom designed for your 1966-1970 Mopar B-Body.
  • Will work with factory bench seat OR a factory 4-speed console and bucket seats.
  • Custom short-throw internal shifter mechanism designed to provide better-than-stock shifting.
  • Custom-machined transmission case and tailhousing allow the transmission to fit your floor tunnel with minimal modification. Cutting template and sheetmetal are provided.
  • No cutting of the torsion bar crossmember.
  • Gear Ratios: 3.27 1st, 1.98 2nd, 1.34 3rd, 1.00 4th, .68 5th; 3.00 reverse.
  • Low RPM Cruising - 32% drop in engine RPM in 5th gear (check out our Speed Analyzer).

2.  CROSSMEMBER -  No-flex/No-problem rigid welded box construction design with integrated isolator perch. OE quality look with zinc-plated finish.


3.  PILOT BEARING
- Needle Roller Bearing for long life and high capacity, works with original manual or automatic crankshaft.

4.  ISOLATOR - Heavy-duty rubber isolator. Polyurethane upgrade available.


5.  BACK-UP LIGHT WIRING HARNESS
- Easy coupling to factory wiring.


6.  NEUTRAL SAFETY START SWITCH
- Can be wired in to starter circuit if desired.


7.  SPEEDOMETER CABLE & DRIVEN GEAR
- Mechanical speedometer cable and correct driven gear PLUS integrated 2-wire electronic output included. Optional electronic wiring harness also available (for use with electronic speedometers or EFI).


8.  DRIVESHAFT
- Lightweight high strength steel, automatic welded and computer dynamic balanced with premium solid sealed U-joints, painted satin black, certified and serialized. Built in-house on Hines driveshaft manufacturing cell for the ultimate in quality and craftsmanship!


9.  SLIP YOKE
- Heavy duty Spicer slip yoke.


10.  INSTALLATION HARDWARE KIT
- High strength Grade 5 and 8 fasteners, properly sorted, bagged and labeled for easy reference.


11.  BELLHOUSING
- Your choice of:

  • Keisler designed & manufactured titanium-aluminum Big Block bellhousing with dual starter pocket (works with both 130-tooth and 143-tooth flywheels)
  • Reconditioned aluminum small block bellhousing for use with a 130-tooth flywheel
  • New small block aluminum bellhousing for use with a 143-tooth flywheel (hydraulic clutch actuation only)
  • Lakewood and QuickTime scattershields are also available for both Small Blocks and Big Blocks.

12.  BELLHOUSING INSPECTION COVER - High quality molded plastic inspection cover;  Heavy-duty stamped steel cover also available.


13.  FLYWHEEL
- Billet steel flywheel, computer balanced.


14.  FLYWHEEL BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty flywheel bolts; with locking washers.


15.  CLUTCH KIT
- Modern pedal effort diaphragm Performance Clutch Kit incl: computer balanced pressure plate, premium sprung hub Clutch Disk (with latest technology environment friendly friction material), sealed release bearing, lube pack.


16.  CLUTCH BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty clutch bolts.


17.  MECHANICAL CLUTCH ACTUATOR KIT  (Original type) - Complete reproduction clutch linkage system with pushrods, torque shaft (z-bar), clutch fork and all necessary brackets, bushings, and hardware.

 

17(opt).  OPTIONAL HYDRAULIC CLUTCH ACTUATOR KIT (Modern Type, Recommended) - OEM reliability, high quality exclusive Keisler design; easier pedal effort than mechanical type; installs much easier than mechanical actuator, with no linkage required; includes: 1) quick release master cylinder with ball joint and adjustable push rod, 2) single stainless steel line-set with bleeder fitting, 3) high tech OE grade concentric self-centering double-sealed hydraulic release bearing (rated at 7000 RPM), 4) bellhousing dust cover & line bracket, 5) remote clutch reservoir with fluid baffle, molded cap, 6) DOT approved low pressure line, and 7) installation instructions.

 

18.  PEDAL ASSEMBLY - Complete clutch and brake pedal assembly with pads and all necessary hardware.


19.  SHIFTER HANDLE
- Authentic, round shank chrome handle, designed & manufactured by Keisler for your Mopar B-body.  Pistol grip handle also available.

 

20.  SHIFTER BOOT AND TRIM RING - Authentic-look, reproduction accordion type rubber shift boot and stamped trim ring.


21.  KNOB
- Classic white or black knob with shift pattern embossed; optional knobs: Keisler 3D in white or black, or polished aluminum Tremec.

 

22.  TUNNEL TEMPLATE AND SHEETMETAL - Marking template shows you exactly where to cut your tunnel, and replacement sheetmetal pre-cut to the correct size and shape is provided.

Mike Campbell - '68 Charger


 

Here's some pictures of my 68 Charger R/T.  It has a spec built 690hp/528cu.in fuel injected Hemi hooked up to your Tremec 5 speed.   2" dropped spindles, power rack and pinion, positrac rearend, tilt wheel, power windows, power door lock poppers & trunk, bumpers were filled and narrowed 1.5" to fit up tight on the car, firewall, inner fenders, underside of hood and trunk were filled & smoothed, power disc brakes, custom built 3" headers by Joe White, Flowmaster mufflers, 3"exhausts, MSD igintion, Mattson alum radiator with electric fans, all the wiring for the motor was buried in stainless tubing under the fenders so nothing shows around the motor, custom billet machined air breather, billet machined taillight bezels, removed the door handles, side mirrors, & cornering lights, hyd. clutch and master cyl. mounted sideways under the dash, custom 28 gallon ss gas tank, and all custom leather interior my Ron Mangus in CA.   The car took 2nd place in the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona CA. and lots of 1st places and Best of Show awards in shows since then.

Andy Burke - '69 Plymouth Satellite


`69 Plymouth Satellite convertible with Keisler A41 automatic overdrive.
 
We ran into Andy at the 2010 All Chrysler Nationals in beautiful Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Andy had a friend that was tearing down some condos and asked if he would be interested in "this old Plymouth" laying in the back of the property. Andy went to have a look and found this long forgotten Satellite in poor condition. A tree was growing up through the passenger floor and the seats could be removed without being unbolted. Needless to say it was a rusty hulk.
 
After some quick negotiations, Andy made a call to a friend with a tow truck to come drag the car out of the woods. Literally. He cleaned the spiders out of the distributor and got the 318 running without even adding gas! The drive was thwarted by dead brakes naturally.
 
Fast forward 4 years and the Satellite is now powered by a 440 backed up with a Keisler A41 automatic overdrive. We would like to commend Andy on his efforts breathing new life into this forgotten Satellite. It`s always nice to hear about a forgotten ride that has been revived and put back on the road. Great job Andy!
