The Keisler RallyeSport 5-Speed PerfectFit® System is the easiest and most complete way to convert your automatic Chevy II/Nova to a modern 5-speed overdrive transmission.

Based on the advanced Borg Warner T-45 5-speed built from 1996-2001, the remanufactured Keisler RS® revolutionizes this transmission design, incorporating the robust BW T-56 carbon fiber synchronizers to all gears including reverse. Plus, new SAE 9310 chrome-nickel-moly steel alloy gears (when required), CNC ground in the USA provide high torque, silent operation.

Carbon fiber lined synchronizers provide 7000 RPM silky smooth, low effort shifts, and reverse is also synchronized. Single rail architecture with Guide Plate means you won’t miss a shift, especially the 2-3 at the track. OEM proven high mesh gear design provides nearly silent operation. 1.  TRANSMISSION
- RS500 (500 LB-FT)  or RS400 (400 LB-FT)  built at Keisler’s factory. A number of custom features are included (with no hidden charges) that you won't find anywhere else, including:

  • PerfectFit® shifter position is STANDARD – not an extra cost upsell.
  • Bolts up to Chevy, Buick, Olds, and Pontiac bellhousings.
  • Shifter location that fits your Chevy II/Nova with NO CUTTING!
  • Advanced, high feature compact shifter features adjustable solid stops, tunable cross gate spring bias, short-ratio lever throws, 4140 chrome steel alloy, Teflon bearings under all pivot shifter designed to provide better-than-stock shifting.
  • Internal guide plate precisely guides the shifter through the gears. Never miss a 2-3 shift again!
  • Gear Ratios:
    • RS500 and RS400 = 3.37 1st, 1.99 2nd, 1.33 3rd, 1.00 4th, .67 5th
  • Low RPM Cruising - 33% drop in engine RPM in 5th gear (check out our Speed Analyzer).

2.  CROSSMEMBER
- Best on the market by providing maximum clearance for exhaust while offering an OE quality look; No-flex/No-problem rigid welded box construction design with integrated isolator perch and gusseted mounting flanges, gloss black epoxy powder paint. This is a far better product than the inexpensive bent tube type crossmembers seen elsewhere.


3.  PILOT BEARING
- Needle Roller Bearing for long life and high capacity.


4.  ISOLATOR
- Heavy-duty rubber isolator. Polyurethane upgrade available.


5.  BACK-UP LIGHT WIRING HARNESS
- Easy coupling to factory wiring.


6.  SPEEDOMETER CABLE & DRIVEN GEAR OR ELECTRONIC OUTPUT
- Mechanical speedometer cable and correct driven gear OR integrated 2-wire electronic output with wiring pigtail included.


7.  DRIVESHAFT
- Lightweight high strength steel, automatic welded and computer dynamic balanced with premium solid sealed U-joints, painted satin black, certified and serialized. Built in-house on Hines driveshaft manufacturing cell for the ultimate in quality and craftsmanship!


8.  SLIP YOKE
- Heavy duty Spicer slip yoke.


9.  INSTALLATION HARDWARE KIT
- High strength Grade 5 and 8 fasteners, properly sorted, bagged and labeled for easy reference.


10.  BELLHOUSING
- Keisler designed & manufactured reproduction of the 11 inch '621' bellhousing. Made in USA of high strength cast aluminum-titanium construction, 50% thicker wall construction than factory, CNC machined; available for all Chevy V8s and GM LS engines.


11.  BELLHOUSING INSPECTION COVER
- stamped steel, black powder paint; genuine GM.


12.  FLYWHEEL
- Billet steel flywheel, computer balanced.


13.  FLYWHEEL BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty flywheel bolts; with locking washers.


14.  CLUTCH KIT
- Modern pedal effort diaphragm Performance Clutch Kit incl: computer balanced pressure plate, premium sprung hub Clutch Disk (with latest technology environment friendly friction material), sealed release bearing, lube pack.


15.  CLUTCH BOLTS
- Grade 8+ specialty clutch bolts.


16.  PEDAL KIT
 - New reproduction pedal assembly with rubber pads.


17.  MECHANICAL CLUTCH ACTUATOR LINKAGE KIT
(Original Type) - clutch pedal pushrod, z-bar, return linkage, springs, clips, pivot ball (if required), frame bracket for pivot ball.


17(opt).  OPTIONAL HYDRAULIC CLUTCH ACTUATOR KIT
(Modern Type, Recommended) - OEM reliability, high quality exclusive Keisler design; easier pedal effort than mechanical type; installs much easier than mechanical actuator, with no linkage required; includes: 1) quick release master cylinder with ball joint and adjustable push rod, 2) single stainless steel line-set with bleeder fitting, 3) high tech OE grade concentric self-centering double-sealed hydraulic release bearing (rated at 7000 RPM), 4) bellhousing dust cover & line bracket, 5) remote clutch reservoir with fluid baffle, molded cap, 6) DOT approved low pressure line, and 7) installation instructions.


18.  SHIFTER HANDLE
- Authentic looking, tapered round shank chrome handle, designed & manufactured by Keisler Engineering, features "TKO" with Keisler logo; or aftermarket Hurst handle also available.


19.  KNOB
- Classic white or black knob with shift pattern embossed; Optional knobs: Keisler 3D in white or black.


20.  INSTALLATION MANUAL

Just wanted to send a quick note and say thank you!
I purchased a TKO 600 Kit from you and installed it in my 65 Chevy Nova SS
I got the Kit with the offset Shifter I put the Hurst Shifter lever and the 4speed knob on it and with the 4speed console you can not tell it is has a 5 speed in it. People ask all the time is it a 4speed and I just smile and say No it a 5 speed and I got it from Keisler Engineering!!!!
Boy what a difference it made in the way the car Drives and Shifts, I have a 410 Gear in the rear and it dropped the RPM down to 2100 At 70 MPH from 3300 before at only 55 to 60 mph.
I would say the hardest part of putting it in was dialing in the bell housing.
