Overview-Ordering

Keisler's T45RS-425 is for the budget-minded enthusiast that doesn't require the extra strength of the TKO.  Keisler's exclusive custom-designed front cover allows the transmission to bolt directly up to a traditional GM or Ford removeable bellhousing.  Mopar applications will require a Keisler bellhousing, or we can modify your existing Mopar bellhousing to accept the T45RS-425.

Optional Keisler ClassicFit™ Offset Shifter is also now available! It provides the same correct shift lever attachment point as our TKO PerfectFit™ series. Modification of the 4-speed shifter hole is required for some applications. (Note: If you desire minor or no modification, please see our TKO PerfectFit™ series of transmission systems).

  • Keisler-exclusive Super Duty 26 spline input shaft for added strength.
  • Custom billet aluminum short-throw shifter designed to provide better-than-stock shifting.
  • Shifter stub is on-center at 20-1/2" from the rear face of the bellhousing.  Optional Keisler ClassicFit Offset Shifter mechanism is also available, to duplicate the factory shift position in most popular musclecars!
  • Choice of electronic or mechanical speedometer output.
  • High strength 31 spline Ford pattern output shaft.
  • Includes Keisler's permanent fix (Patent Pending) for the T45 chronic reverse shifting problems - No more jumping out of reverse, gear clash, or grinding.
  • Gear Ratios: 3.37 1st, 1.99 2nd, 1.33 3rd, 1.00 4th, .67 5th; 3.22 reverse.
  • Low RPM Cruising - 33% drop in engine RPM in 5th gear (check out our Speed Analyzer).
  • Precision Assembled, TRIPLE Quality Checked - Remanufactured at Keisler by our highly trained technicians, using OEM quality replacement parts; 100% inspected for function, leak and visual appearance (check us out).
  • Nation-Wide Parts & Service - Parts in-stock; service in-house.
  • NOTE:  This transmission is not a direct bolt-in, and will require modification to your driveshaft, crossmember, and possibly your transmission tunnel.
